PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on August 13, 2013 for an amount not to exceed $1,395,000.00. This contract consists of professional brokerage/consulting services for review, analysis and assistance in the management of services for the County’s health, dental, life and vision insurance programs; flexible spending account program and other voluntary benefits. This request is to add additional funding to cover consulting services for the redesign of the retiree medical program to achieve cost savings and to provide guidance and outline strategies to mitigate the County’s growing Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) liability.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract for an amount not to exceed $15,000.00 with:
Conduent HR Consulting LLC, 200 Galleria Parkway SE, Suite 1900, Atlanta, GA 30339
Amount Not To Exceed: $15,000.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
