PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 28, 2016 to two (2) contractors for a total amount not to exceed $6,000,000.00. Change Order No. 1 was approved by the BOC on November 7, 2016 to extend the contracts' term to December 31, 2017 and to increase the contracts for a total amount not to exceed $6,000,000.00. These contracts consist of sanitary sewer line and manhole emergency repairs. DWM operations and maintenance staff are unable to currently meet the number and complexity of the emergency sewer emergencies. This request is to allow the contractors additional time and funding to complete the work needed to continue executing emergency work orders.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 to increase the contracts' time by 365 days, extend the contracts' term to December 31, 2018 and increase the contracts for an amount not to exceed $12,000,000.00 with:

Ruby Collins, Inc., 4806 Wright Drive, Smyrna, GA 30082
Estimated Amount: $6,000,000.00.
