PURPOSE:
The proposed resolution lists the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority suggestions for financing the construction of a new surgery center through a public-private partnership, with a 50/50 split of the total cost of $198 million dollars. The proposed resolution would allow the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority and the supporting fundraising entities to solicit the “private” sector funding with the benefit of formal resolutions authorizing the negation of the public funds from the counties.
