PURPOSE:
To increase the number of posts from seven to eight for the Development Authority of DeKalb County and the Private Hospital Authority. The appointment for the eighth post is effective immediately upon the appointee’s signing of the oath of office and will expire December 31, 2021.
NEED/IMPACT:
The purpose of the Development Authority of DeKalb County is to develop and promote commerce, industry, and employment opportunities for the public good and general welfare of DeKalb County. It is imperative that the membership of the Development Authority and Private Hospital Authority is enhanced with executives and leaders of DeKalb County so that both of the Authority’s purposes are effectively maintained and managed.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No fiscal impact to County.

Approve the resolution that creates an eighth post for the Development Authority of DeKalb County and Private Hospital Authority.
