PURPOSE:
Cancel the Operation & Maintenance Services contract for the Renewable Fuels Facility. DeKalb County Sanitation and ARC mutually agree that termination of the current agreement is in everyone’s best interest and desire to terminate the current contract for convenience.
NEED/IMPACT:
Alternative use of the methane gas will be directed to the Landfill Gas to Electricity Facility (LFGTE) at the Seminole Road Landfill.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Final payment of alleged outstanding invoices for March 2015 through April 2015, in the amount of $53,250.00, is to be made within fifteen (15) days of full execution of the termination of agreement.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
