PURPOSE:
Consists of piggybacking from the competitively let U.S. Communities Contract for the lease of fifty (50) golf carts, one (1) range picker and one (1) beverage cart. The carts will be used to transport the patrons and support daily operations. This is part of the overall plan. In July we informed the PECS Committee that we would be placing 5 contracts out for bid. The five contracts were: 1.) Operation of Sugar Creek Tennis facility, 2.) Maintenance of Sugar Creek Golf Course; 3.) Operation of concession at Sugar Creek; 4.) Lease of golf carts at Sugar Creek, and 5.) Operation and Maintenance of Mystery Valley Golf Course. We affirmed this before the PECS Committee on September 26, 2017. The actions were identified that required the support of the BOC to keep the Golf Courses operational.

Recommended Action
Recommend approval to purchase from U.S. Communities Contract No. EV2024-02 with:
Club Car, 4125 Washington Road, Evans, GA 30809
Amount Not To Exceed: $243,360.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the lease and all associated documents.
