PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 27, 2017 for an amount not to exceed $495,530.00. This contract consists of demolition and replacement of an existing gravity sewer line. This includes boring under the Stone Mountain Freeway (Highway 78) and connecting to an existing gravity sewer line located at the intersection of Hammermill Road and Auger Drive. This request is to extend the contract to allow the full performance time of 150 days to complete the scope of work. This is a Consent Decree project with a project deadline of January 31, 2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract term to December 31, 2018 with:
Site Engineering, Inc., 7025 Best Friend Road, Atlanta, GA 30340
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
