PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on November 7, 2016 for an amount not to exceed $1,916,333.00. This contract consists of project upgrades including the rehabilitation of the bridge deck and substructure repairs. This request is to extend the contract term to temporarily remove the existing water main on the Key Road Bridge. Removal of an additional water main from Bouldercrest Road will prevent the interruption of the source of water for the adjacent City of Atlanta wastewater treatment plant.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract term to March 31, 2018 with:
Georgia Bridge and Concrete, LLC, 4635 North Royal Atlanta Drive, Tucker, GA 30084
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
