PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on August 14, 2007 for an amount not to exceed $2,742,060.40. On November 15, 2016, the BOC approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price Change Order for an amount not to exceed $1,456,037.60 and established the contract expiration date of December 31, 2017. This contract consists of the construction of the Ellenwood/River Road Branch Library. Delays have resulted from permitting time, discovery of unsuitable soils during grading, and rain. This request is for additional time for project completion.

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 to extend the contract expiration through December 31, 2018 with:
Hogan Construction Group, LLC, 5075 Avalon Ridge Parkway, Norcross, GA 30071
