PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on July 8, 2014 for an amount not to exceed $1,978,500.00. This contract consists of sewage solids dewatering and trucking services for hauling solid waste from the Pole Bridge Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 4664 Flat Bridge Road, Lithonia, GA 30038. These services are critical to on-going operations and any break in service will subject the County to Georgia Environmental Protection Division and Environmental Protection Agency fines. This request is for additional funding and time needed for continued services.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract amount and extend the contract expiration date to December 31, 2018 with:
Denali Water Solutions, LLC, 201 South Denver Avenue, Suite B, Russellville, AR 72801
Amount Not To Exceed: $1,000,000.00.
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
