PURPOSE:

This repair will improve the efficiency and reliability of the flex bar screen systems at the Snapfinger Advanced Water Treatment Plant. The flex bar screen system is used to rake debris to alleviate spills, damage to pumps and impellers and also to comply with EPD requirements. These systems have been utilized by the County since 2007. The vendor is the sole manufacturer and patent holder of all parts required to complete the rehabilitation.
