PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on May 17, 2016 for an amount not to exceed $1,456,025.00. This request is to revise the contract specifications to require more stringent surface preparation prior to repainting, to add 162 more performance days to provide the Contractor with sufficient time to complete the work with consideration for potential winter weather delays and to increase contract amount.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 1 to revise the scope of work, add performance days and increase the contract amount with:
Utility Service Co., Inc., 535 Courtney Hodges Blvd., Perry, GA 31069
Amount Not To Exceed: $344,975.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
