PURPOSE:
To consider approval of new Lease Agreement with Outfront Media, LLC, effective February 1, 2018; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the new Lease Agreement.
NEED/IMPACT:
The new lease agreement was negotiated in accordance with the DeKalb County Code and is for a term of ten (10) years. This new agreement accomplishes the following in part:
1) Updates and verifies the two ground spaces involved in the lease, which are used for one double faced poster panel (billboard) located at 4538 Buford Highway and one double faced poster panel (billboard) located at 4596 Buford Highway;
2) Escalates the annual rent of the ground spaces from $1800.00 to $2200.00, effective on February 1, 2018;
3) Lessee is responsible for all landscaping maintenance.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a revenue generating ten (10) year Lease Agreement.
