PURPOSE:
To record the appointment of Mr. William Voorhies to the District 1 Community Council.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Clerk to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Commissioner would like the minutes of the Commission to reflect appointments made by individual Commissioners to various board and authorities.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Approve the item to record the appointment of Mr. Robert Voorhies to the District 1 Community Council. Mr. William Voorhies resides in Commission District 1 at 5413 Smoke Rise Drive, Stone Mountain, Georgia. He is a longstanding and active member of the Smoke Rise Community and served over 20 years with DeKalb County Fire Rescue. Mr. Voorhies has lived in the Smoke Rise community for the last 18 years and desires to serve on the Community Council.
