PURPOSE:
To transfer $150,000 from 2001 Parks Bond Countywide Account 100492.80314.541100.05.600008 to create two new accounts: Hairston Park Playground ($95,000) and Shoal Creek I Park Playground ($55,000); and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funds are needed for pour-in-place rubber surfacing at Hairston Park and Shoal Creek I Park. The use of this surfacing type, instead of engineered wood fiber, will allow for reduced maintenance, a higher level of ADA compliance and a better return on investment over the surfacing’s lifespan
FISCAL IMPACT:
Total estimated cost $150,000 to be funded by 2001 Park Bond Countywide Fund; no impact on fiscal operating budget
