PURPOSE:
To consider accepting up to $983,000.00 in currency for the year 2018 to be distributed in accordance with
O.C.G.A. §9-16-19 and with the Court Orders of Distribution of Forfeited Property; and to authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
In order to accept funds that can immediately be applied to accounts, an annual estimate is needed for acceptance through the Board of Commissioners.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This agenda item is to accept funds estimated as follows:
District Attorney - $150,000
Marshal’s Office - $25,000
Police Services - $800,000
Sheriff’s Office - $8,000
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To accept up to $983,000.00 in currency for the year 2018 to be distributed in accordance with O.C.G.A. §9-16-19 and with the Court Orders of Distribution of Forfeited Property; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
