PURPOSE:
To adopt the 2018 Operating Budget
NEED/IMPACT:
Per Section 17 of the County’s Organizational Act, the CEO is required to submit a proposed budget for the following calendar year. The budget was transmitted to the Board on December 15, 2017. The Organization Act requires a budget be approved and adopted before March 1st by the Board of Commissioners.

FISCAL IMPACT:
Approves the appropriation of $1.241 billion in revenues and expenditures for the County’s operating budget in
FY2018.

To defer until the second Board of Commissioners’ meeting in February for passage.
