PURPOSE:

Consists of piggybacking from the competitively let National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) cooperative agreement to install PIP surfacing.  This request is to change the surfacing type from engineered wood fiber to PIP to allow for reduced maintenance, a higher level of ADA compliance and a greater return on investment over the surfacing’s lifespan. The new playground installations for both parks were awarded to this vendor in May and October 2017.
