PURPOSE:

Consists of piggybacking from the competitively let U.S. Communities cooperative agreement to install PIP surfacing. This request is to change the surfacing type from engineered wood fiber to PIP to allow for reduced maintenance, a higher level of ADA compliance and a greater return on investment over the surfacing’s lifespan. The new playground installation for this park was awarded to this vendor in July 2017.
