PURPOSE:
To approve placement of Midway Woods (Sign Toppers) signage within DeKalb County right-of-way to identify the Midway Woods neighborhood.
NEED/IMPACT:
The installation of the Sign Toppers will serve to identify the Midway Woods neighborhood to the traveling public. The area residents have hired IFO Inc., who has provided the necessary insurance documentation and will bear the responsibility of installing and maintaining the signs. The signage will be permitted by Public Works-Transportation as a utility permit. The signs will be installed on existing street signs within the Midway Woods neighborhood.
