PURPOSE:
Provides cost share grant funding that allows DeKalb County to receive funds to accelerate the deployment of alternative fuel vehicles.
NEED/IMPACT:
Reduces the financial expense for acquiring vehicles that will reduce petroleum consumption and improve fuel efficiency. The vehicles being acquired for deployment will allow DeKalb County to save on fuel expenditures, and the grant will reimburse for a percentage of the vehicle cost.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This represents a cost savings of $365,219 in FY18.
