PURPOSE:
To consider approving a contract with the City of Clarkston for the construction of 1700 ft. of sidewalk from Church Street at Erskine Road to East Ponce de Leon Avenue at the Brockett Road intersection. The sidewalks will provide accessibility for pedestrians and wheel-chair access to bus stops.
NEED/IMPACT:
The BOC approved the update to the 2014 - 2018 Consolidated Plan including the 2017 Annual Action Plan on August 8, 2017, which allocated $120,000 in CDBG funding to the City of Clarkston to enable construction of this sidewalk project.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no Fiscal Impact to the County

Recommended Action
