PURPOSE:
To transfer $250,000.00 from 2001 Park Bond District 4 account100629.80314.541100.05.600012 and to set up a new District 4 Development account for the Tobie Grant Recreation Center.
NEED/IMPACT:
The funding is needed to fund the building of a new Tobie Grant Recreation Center located at the intersection of Parksdale Drive and Tobie Grant Lane in Scottsdale, Georgia. The new one story Recreation Center will offer intergenerational programming to include a library, multi-purpose rooms, administrative offices, multi-purpose court gymnasium and a track. The 29,835 sq. Tobie Grant Recreation Center will create a community place focused on the intergenerational physical well-being of the community.

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents to transfer $250,000.00 from the District 4 2001 Park Bond account and to set-up a new District 4 development account for the Tobie Grant Recreational Center.
