PURPOSE:
For the governing authority of DeKalb County to adopt a comprehensive program management model and a standardize service delivery approach for the programming and administration of senior services and other purposes.
NEED/IMPACT:
The population of DeKalb County seniors is increasing rapidly and their needs are evolving in complexity and support requirements, hence the need to optimize the delivery of services to the senior population - see attached resolution.
FISCAL IMPACT:
To obtain financial resources to meet the growing service needs.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents; to authorize the governing authority of DeKalb County to adopt a comprehensive program management model and a standardize service delivery approach for the programming and administration of senior services and other purposes.
