PURPOSE:
Request Congress to act on climate change
NEED/IMPACT:
Global climate change is affecting weather patterns causing rising sea levels, melting ice caps, increasing flooding and prolonging droughts. These changes are a risk to agriculture, wildlife and human existence.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
