PURPOSE:

To accept a donation from the International Association of Fire Chiefs, given in appreciation of DeKalb County Fire Rescue’s participation in the International Fellowship program.

NEED/IMPACT:

The donation is a Fire Prevention and Safety Kitchen Simulator, valued at $39,899 and will be used to educate the citizens of DeKalb County on kitchen safety and related issues.

FISCAL IMPACT:

No cost to the county.
