PURPOSE:
To consider accepting and appropriating $2,500.00 from Fuqua Acquisitions II, LLC into an existing capital improvement account (Award 601825, Project 104428) for use to fund off-site improvements as agreed to in the Zoning Agreement between Fuqua Acquisitions II, LLC and the Medlock Area Neighborhood Association.

NEED/IMPACT:
Fuqua Acquisitions II, LLC and the Medlock Area Neighborhood Association entered into a Zoning Agreement for Fuqua Acquisitions II, LLC to fund off-site improvements. One of the improvements was a pedestrian crosswalk island spanning Scott Boulevard at Blackmon Drive, if approved by the Georgia Department of Transportation. The agreement reads that if the improvements are not made, Fuqua Acquisition II, LLC will donate an additional $2,500.00 towards the other prioritized off-site improvements identified in the Zoning Agreement. The Georgia Department of Transportation did not allow for the island to be constructed on the state route and therefore Fuqua Acquisitions II, LLC is donating the additional $2,500.00 towards the other prioritized off-site improvements listed in the agreement. The Board of Commissioners previously accepted $40,000.00 from Fuqua Acquisitions II, LLC on July 12, 2016 for the additional off-site improvements (Award 601825, Project 104428).

FISCAL IMPACT:
No cost to the county.
