PURPOSE:
The County has utilized these proprietary parts since it was last upgraded in 1984. Aerating the primary tanks is an important process in the AWWTF for the conditioning and feeding of bacteria in the biological treatment of public water. The requested parts are periodically replaced to maintain this process for 36 primary tanks and it is also mandated by EPD/EPA regulation to protect public health. Zimpro/Passavant is the manufacturer of these proprietary parts which are located in Germany and Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC, is the proprietary distributor in the United States of America.
