PURPOSE:
To consider acceptance of the donation of a speed trailer from Emory University to the Police Department, and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
Emory University Police Department expresses the intent to donate a speed trailer to the Dekalb County Police Department in continued support and partnership for local law enforcement. The estimated value of the trailer is $3,000.00. The trailer will be deployed to problem areas identified by citizens and patrol officers to address speed and traffic volume.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact.
