PURPOSE:
To extend the contract term for twelve months through August 31, 2019 to allow the vendor time to complete its obligations under the contract.
Awarded by the BOC on April 8, 2014 for an amount not to exceed $6,000,000.00. On November 10, 2015, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $6,000,000.00. On August 23, 2016, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $6,000,000.00. On November 29, 2016, Change Order No. 1 was approved to add 2 additional line items consisting of new types of water meters to be purchased utilizing the remaining funding of the contract. On August 22, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to extend the term of the contract to allow the vendor time to complete its obligations under the contract. On January 9, 2018, the BOC approved Change Order No. 3 to increase the amount not to exceed by $5,000,000.00 to allow DWM to continue purchasing new accuStream water meters, radios, and licensing for the FlexNet/KISS data management system.
