PURPOSE:

DeKalb County, Georgia will create an intergovernmental agreement with The City of Stone Mountain, Georgia, for the provision of solid waste management services.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The DeKalb County Sanitation department will provide solid waste management services to residential homes and commercial establishments located within the City of Stone Mountain, Georgia.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

The assessed residential and commercial fees will increase the department’s annually generated revenue.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Recommended Action

Approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents;

Approval to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement for The Provision of Solid Waste Management Services between DeKalb County, Georgia & The City of Stone Mountain, Georgia.
