PURPOSE:
DeKalb County, Georgia will enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the City of Pine Lake, Georgia, for the provision of solid waste management services.
NEED/IMPACT:
The DeKalb County Sanitation department will provide solid waste management services to residential homes and commercial establishments located within the City of Pine Lake, Georgia.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The assessed residential and commercial fees will increase the department’s annually generated revenue.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
To approve an Intergovernmental Agreement for The Provision of Solid Waste Management Services between DeKalb County, Georgia & the City of Pine Lake, Georgia and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents.
