Consists of providing services to alleviate interruptions and multiple failures within the existing water distribution system by replacing the existing 6-inch Asbestos Cement water main with a new ductile iron pipe water main along Rockbridge Road. PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on October 11, 2016 for an amount not to exceed $21,872,775. On November 14, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to extend the contract term to December 31, 2019. The completion of the water main replacement project for the segment between S. Stone Mountain Lithonia Road to S. Hairston Road requires additional milling and overlay for adequate roadway stabilization. This request is to increase the scope of work, performance time by 120 days, and funding to allow for roadway repairs.

Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
Reeves Young, LLC, 45 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, NW, Ste. 200, Sugar Hill, GA 30518
Amount Not To Exceed: $1,294,961.00
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
