PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on March 10, 2015 for an amount not to exceed $818,973.67. On October 27, 2015, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 for an amount not to exceed $1,750,744.78. On March 22, 2016, the BOC approved the 1st renewal option for an amount not to exceed $845,779.41. On February 28, 2017, the BOC approved the 2nd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $1,027,475.41. On March 13, 2018, the BOC approved the 3rd renewal option for an amount not to exceed $851,128.47. This request is for additional funding to provide necessary upgrades to help protect against current cyber threats, as the County’s current net security system is obsolete.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 2 with:
Layer 3 Communications, Inc. 1450 Oakbrook Drive, Suite 900, Norcross, GA 30093
Amount Not To Exceed: $548,285.10
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents. Recommended Action
