PURPOSE:
To accept rental revenue from the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services (DFACS) for the period from July 1, 2018 through September 30, 2018 totaling $193,882.14 to appropriate those funds for Facilities Management to repair the roof system at the Sams Street Facility occupied by DFACS.
NEED/IMPACT:
Our assessment indicates the need for capital investment into the DFACS roof in order to prevent further damage to the facility. The facility has had leaks over the past several years. It recently sustained significant damage due to storm impact.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The acceptance and appropriation of DFACS rental revenue to repair the DFACS building roof results in a net budget impact of zero dollars.

Recommended Action
Accept DFACS rental revenues of $193,882.14 and appropriate those funds to repair the DFACS building roof for use by Facilities Management.
