PURPOSE:
To Request that the General Assembly consider the repeal of O.C.G.A. 50-13-1, which in part, limits the
actions taken by Counties vis-à-vis confederate monuments located on County-owned property;
NEED/IMPACT:
This legislation is needed to address rising issues within the community concerning the placement of
Confederate monuments;
