PURPOSE:
To transfer $2,500 from 2001 Parks Bond District 2 accounts 100585.80314.541200.06.600020 to District 2 Springbrook Park account 103904.80314.541200.06.600020 to match a Park Pride grant.
NEED/IMPACT:
This funding is needed to match a Park Pride grant secured by the Friends of Springbrook Park. Total cost of the project is $5,909.00 with the following funding sources:
$2,500 Park Pride Grant
$2,500 DeKalb County Government 2001 Parks Bond District 2
$109 Friends of Springbrook Park
$800 In-Kind Services
The funds will be used to acquire a two-bubbler drinking fountain, a plastic picnic table and chairs. The assembly and installation will be done by the Friends of Springbrook Park with an estimated value of $800 for these in-kind services.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No impact to the operating budget. Funded by 2001 Parks Bond District 2.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend that funds in the amount of $2,500.00 be transferred from 2001 Parks Bond District 2 account 100585.80314.541200.06.600020 to District 2 Springbrook Park account 103904.80314.541200.06.600020 to match a Park Pride grant; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all the necessary documents and contracts for the completion of the project.
