PURPOSE:

Pursuant to 13A of Organizational Act where “The chief executive shall nominate a person by sending a written notice to the commission,” CEO Thurmond is nominating Mr. Roderick Frierson for appointment to the MARTA Board of Directors. Mr. Frierson will represent the southern most area of Decatur for a four-year term that will begin upon confirmation.

To implement the requirements of applicable law, CEO Thurmond is nominating Mr. Roderick Frierson for appointment to the MARTA Board of Directors.
