PURPOSE:
To consider adopting the attached ordinance, amending Chapter 13, Article IV, of the Code of DeKalb County, GA, as revised 1988, pertaining to Tourist Accommodations, and for Other Purposes.
NEED/IMPACT:
This Ordinance amends the title of Chapter 13, Article IV, replacing Section 13-71, and repeals Section 13-72 in its entirety. A public hearing was held at the Board of Health on March 22, 2018 on the proposed ordinance. On May 24, 2018, the Board of Directors conducted a public hearing to receive public comments regarding the amendment. Following the public hearing, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to approve adoption of the proposed ordinance.
The County Attorney’s Office has approved the ordinance as to form.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact.

Adopt the attached Ordinance and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
