PURPOSE:
To consider the acceptance of a donation from CrossFit Ozone for gym equipment with an estimated value of $3,890.00 for the SWAT Team of the Dekalb Police Department.
NEED/IMPACT:
John Austin the owner of CrossFit Ozone recently contacted the Police Department regarding his wish to donated gym equipment for the SWAT Team with an estimated value of $3,890.00. Donations in excess of $2,500 currently require Board of Commission approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The acceptance of this equipment will not create a financial impact.
