PURPOSE:
To consider approval of a License and Use Agreement for Airport Rental Car Operator with Gitibin & Associates, Inc. dba GO RENTALS; and
To consider authorizing the Chief Executive Officer to execute the necessary documents.
NEED/IMPACT:
Licensee is engaged in the business of commercial rental car operations and desires to provide services. This License and Use Agreement grants a non-exclusive right and license to conduct activities related to a car rental business at the airport fixed base operator locations.
The agreement is for twenty-four months with four automatic renewal terms. The Licensee will pay twelve percent (12%) of gross revenues to the County during the initial twenty-four month term and an additional one percent (1%) at the beginning of each twenty-four month automatic renewal period.
The County Attorney has reviewed the document and approved it as to form.
The original documents are in the Purchasing and Contracting Department.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This is a revenue generating initiative. There is no cost to the County.
