PURPOSE:
This purchase consists of the Integrated Ballistic Identification System (IBIS®) includes the National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) Cartridge Case Acquisition Station (BRASSTRAX™), Analysis Station for Cartridge Cases (MATCHPOINT™), and PAG800 Stereo Zoom Microscope. This patented forensic technology will allow access to proprietary and commercially sensitive information and assist law enforcement in solving firearm-related crime by gathering intelligence of 2D and 3D images left on spent bullets and cartridge cases from the firearm and ammunition.
