PURPOSE:
To consider extending 2018 award number 602023 thru December 31, 2019 to allow for the acceptance of funds up to $20,000.
NEED/IMPACT:
In 2018 the Board approved the hosting and collection for funds for NAPWDA Georgia Certification/Workshop. Sixty four (64) teams from across Georgia and other states were in attendance of this very successful event.
The Department is looking to host the event again September 29, 2019- October 4, 2019. By extending the current award established in 2018 collection of revenue and associated expenses for hosting can occur.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The anticipated new revenue for 2019 is not to exceed $20,000. In addition, the current available balance from 2018 of $6,089.68 will also be utilized to support the event.
