PURPOSE:

To consider accepting the Technology & Furniture Subgrant Grant in the amount of $2,450 from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) for the Accountability Courts-Veterans Treatment Court program and appropriating it in an existing award.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

CJCC has awarded the Veterans Treatment Court program a Technology & Furniture Grant in the amount of $2,450 to purchase computers and printers to be used along with the Veterans Treatment Court’s case management software. Funding will also allow the purchase of furniture such as desk chairs and file cabinets. The grant will support and enhance services for both the clients and staff of the Veterans Treatment Court program. The funding period is from May 1, 2019 through June 30, 2019, and no match is required.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Total equipment & furniture cost is $2,450, funding has to be spent by June 30th 2019, end of State FY 2019. Funding provided by Criminal Justice Coordinating Council

Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the chief executive officer to execute all necessary documents. To accept the Technology & Furniture Subgrant Award for Veterans Treatment Court in the amount of $2,450 from CJCC and appropriate it into an existing award in the grant fund.
