PURPOSE:
Consist of mowing and maintenance of County abated locations, including abatement lots, traffic islands, FEMA lots and land banks. After the properties have been abated, the contractors will provide the mowing in either every two-week or four-week cycles to maintain the properties. Due to the large number of locations within a group and the frequency of services needed, the solicitation stated that a multi-award is required. The lowest cost vendor will receive groups I and II with 119 locations to be serviced every two weeks, consisting of primarily residential lots. The 2nd lowest cost vendor will receive groups III, IV and V with 43 locations to be serviced every four weeks, consisting of FEMA, In-Rem and Land Banks lots. Many of the lots require an extensive one-time cleaning and maintenance. Six (6) bids were received.
