PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on December 9, 2014 for an amount not to exceed $632,462.12. On May 10, 2016, the BOC approved Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract for an amount not to exceed $59,124.26 for recurring maintenance and support fees for the procurement of additional software updates and enhancements. On August 22, 2017, the BOC approved Change Order No. 2 to increase the contract for an amount not to exceed $168,961.23 to cover recurring maintenance and support fees for proprietary CrimeView products and Records Management System (RMS) support for the Marshal's Office. This software is proprietary, and the software publisher is the only source to provide the maintenance and support. This request is for additional funding to upgrade the RMS system to become fully web enabled by adding the RMS Property and Evidence modules allowing for greater synchronization with current State and Federal crime reporting mandates.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommended Action
Recommend approval of Change Order No. 3 to increase the contract amount with:
TriTech Software Systems, 9477 Waples Street, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92121
Amount Not To Exceed: $48,830.50
and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute the change order and all associated documents.
