PURPOSE:
On February 28, 2017, the BOC approved Invitation No. 16-100702 - DeKalb County Toddler Pool Conversions for an amount not to exceed $387,375.00. This contract consists of providing toddler pool conversions of existing pools to concrete spray pads to meet ADA compliance at five (5) locations: Cofer, Medlock, Kittredge, Tobie Grant and Lithonia Parks. This request is for the ratification of final payments outside of the contract value incurred due to changes necessary to meet the most current ADA compliancy requirements.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
1. Funding: Parks Bond (RPCA)
2. Justification: In order not to delay the opening of the pools in the summer months, the contractor was allowed to complete the project. All five (5) pools are now in compliance with the ADA regulations.
