PURPOSE:

To appropriate District 6 reserve for appropriation funds to partially fund two items requested by the Parks and Recreation Department.

 

NEED/IMPACT:

The Parks and Recreation Department requested funds in the Mid-year Budget for Park Patrol Vehicles. This $50,000 appropriation from District 6 reserves will fund two vehicles.

 

The Parks and Recreation Department also requested funds for invasive species removal in the Capital Improvements Budget (CIP Request No. 2019-271.5). This $90,000 appropriation from District 6 Reserves will fund the removal of invasive plants in Mason Mill Park.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

Increase appropriations for the following accounts by the amounts indicated below:

Parks & Recreation - Designated Services Fund - Vehicle Additions to the Fleet (06117.551106.271.0000.000) - $50,000

Contributions - Designated Services Fund - Transfer to CIP Fund (09043.611350.271.0000.0000) - $90,000

 

Decrease appropriations for the following account by the amount indicated below:

Non-Departmental - Designated Services Fund - Reserve for Appropriation (09120.579002.271.0000.0000) - $140,000

Recommended Action

To approve the resolution and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to execute all necessary documents.
