PURPOSE:
Pursuant to 13A of the Organizational Act where “The chief executive shall nominate a person by sending a written notice to the commission,” CEO Thurmond is nominating Dr. Romeo P. Stockett for appointment to the Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority (Grady). This term will be for 3 years and will begin immediately and will expire on December 31, 2022.
NEED/IMPACT:
The Fulton - DeKalb Hospital Authority is committed to working to meet the healthcare needs of Fulton and DeKalb counties residents. Dr. Stockton has over 40 years of professional experience with both public and private health care entities and will be an asset to the Board. He has been properly vetted by the Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority and the Administration.
