The contract consists of program management for the provision of congregate, shelf-stable and home-delivered meals for seniors. Recommend approval of cancellation with Open Hand Atlanta.

PURPOSE:
Awarded by the BOC on June 26, 2018 for an amount not to exceed $2,080,913.82. This request is to terminate the contract in accordance with the provisions of Article IV., G. Termination of Agreement due to failure to meet the safety or quality standards set forth in the contract. Meal services remain a priority and the department will continue to meet the needs of the seniors through an emergency agreement for six (6) months. This will allow time to process a new procurement and contract award, and prevent a lapse in providing meal services to seniors.
